PERLIFOC HP Eco+ is a high-performance spray-applied fireproof mortar designed to provide passive fire protection for structural steel and other structural elements. The product is a gypsum-based fire protection coating containing lightweight fillers that provide excellent thermal insulation while maintaining a low density.
When exposed to fire, the mortar protects structural steel by insulating it from extreme temperatures, helping prevent the steel from reaching critical failure temperatures. PERLIFOC HP Eco+ can deliver fire resistance ratings of up to 240 minutes (R240) depending on the protected structural element and application thickness.
The system is commonly used for protecting steel beams, columns, concrete elements and composite structures in commercial and industrial buildings. Its environmentally focused formulation includes certifications such as Environmental Product Declaration and Cradle to Cradle, supporting sustainable building projects and green building rating systems.
