Firetex Premium 120

Firetex Premium 120 (FIRETEX Platinum-120) is a solvent-free, ultra-high build epoxy intumescent coating designed to provide passive fire protection for structural steel in both interior and exterior environments. When exposed to high temperatures during a fire, the coating expands to form an insulating char layer that helps prevent structural steel from reaching critical failure temperatures.

The coating provides fire protection for up to 120 minutes and is designed for use in demanding environments where both fire protection and corrosion resistance are required. It can be applied directly to abrasive blast-cleaned steel and is suitable for atmospheric corrosivity environments up to C5, making it suitable for industrial, infrastructure and commercial construction projects.

Firetex Premium 120 is a 100% solids, two-component epoxy system with very low VOC content and high durability. The system is resistant to mechanical damage and is designed for long service life, making it suitable for both on-site and off-site steel protection applications.
