Hempafire Extreme 550
Hempafire Extreme 550 is a two-component, solvent-free epoxy intumescent coating designed for passive fire protection of structural steel exposed to cellulosic fires. When exposed to high temperatures, the coating expands to create an insulating char layer that protects steel structures and helps prevent them from reaching critical failure temperatures.
Engineered for demanding environments, Hempafire Extreme 550 provides durable fire protection for both interior and exterior steel structures. The coating is optimised for fire resistance ratings between R30 and R120, with protection up to four hours possible depending on the project specification.
With its solvent-free formulation, smooth finish and reduced paint consumption, Hempafire Extreme 550 helps streamline application while delivering long-term protection and performance for commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects.
