Fireshield Timber Clear Semi Gloss
Fireshield TimberClear Top Coat Semi-Gloss is a clear, solvent-based sealing coat designed to be applied over the Fireshield TimberClear intumescent basecoat as the final layer of the TimberClear fire protection system for interior timber surfaces. The top coat protects the underlying intumescent coating from moisture, abrasion and environmental exposure while maintaining the natural appearance of the timber.
The coating forms part of a two-coat fire protection system consisting of the TimberClear basecoat followed by the TimberClear Top Coat. When installed to the required thickness, the complete system can achieve Group 1 fire performance in Australia under the NCC and Group 1-S surface ratings in New Zealand building codes for interior timber wall and ceiling surfaces.
Fireshield TimberClear Top Coat Semi-Gloss is designed for use in interior dry environments (C1 zones) and must only be used as part of the approved TimberClear system. The coating is typically applied using airless spray equipment but can also be applied with brush or roller for smaller areas or touch-ups.
